What is PrimeCell Regenerative & Aesthetic Medicine?
PrimeCell is the physician-led, self-pay practice of Kenny Chantasi, DO, in Orlando, Florida. It brings regenerative and pain care, GLP-1 medical weight management, aesthetic medicine and hormone therapy together under one physician, by appointment.
Every patient starts with an evaluation rather than a predetermined product. Meet Dr. Chantasi.
Who is Dr. Chantasi?
Kenny Chantasi, DO, is PrimeCell’s founder and medical director, board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and in Pain Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He performs PrimeCell’s evaluations and procedures himself.
He was previously Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Medical Director of Sanford Rehabilitation Hospital. Full credentials and licensure.

Does PrimeCell have more than one office?
No. PrimeCell has one office, on South Hiawassee Road in Orlando. Telemedicine evaluations are available when an in-person exam is not needed first. Visit & directions.
Do I need a referral?
No. PrimeCell is a self-pay, by-appointment practice, and you can request a consultation directly online or by phone without a referral.
How do I schedule a consultation?

What should I bring to my first visit?
A photo ID, a list of your current medications and supplements, and any relevant imaging, lab work or records from prior treatment. They help Dr. Chantasi build a complete picture during your evaluation.
What happens at the first visit?
A physician evaluation: your history and goals, an examination, review of prior imaging or labs where relevant, and a discussion of which options fit your findings. You leave with a plan and, if a procedure is recommended, a written estimate.
Will I be treated at the first visit?
The first visit is an evaluation. Whether any treatment makes sense — and when — is decided afterward, with a written plan and estimate in hand. Nothing is sold to you that day.
Can my first visit be by telemedicine?
Often, yes. Prospyr offers a telemedicine new-patient evaluation. Regenerative and pain evaluations usually depend on a physical examination and, where relevant, ultrasound, so an in-person first visit is the better starting point for them; weight, hormone and some aesthetic conversations can often begin remotely.

03 Cost, insurance & payment
Self-pay, with a written estimate first
Does PrimeCell accept insurance?
No. PrimeCell is a self-pay practice. Regenerative, aesthetic, hormone, weight-management and membership services are not billed to insurance, and written estimates are provided before any procedure.
How much is the initial consultation?
The initial consultation is a self-pay physician evaluation. The current fee, including any introductory offer, is shown in the booking section at the end of this page and confirmed when you schedule.
How much do regenerative procedures cost?
It depends on the diagnosis, the area treated, whether image guidance is used, the product and the number of visits, so there is no single price. You receive a written estimate after your evaluation and before anything is scheduled.
Will I know the price before anything is scheduled?
Yes. Every treatment plan comes with a written estimate before any procedure begins, so your financial responsibility is clear in advance.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, for qualifying patients, through Cherry. Checking your eligibility with Cherry does not affect your credit score; exact terms and APR depend on your credit and other factors. Annual memberships also have their own 12-month payment option.

Stem cells, PRP and pain
What kinds of pain does PrimeCell evaluate?
Joint, spine, tendon, ligament, muscle and nerve-related pain — including knee, hip and shoulder pain, back and neck pain, osteoarthritis, tendinopathy and peripheral neuropathy.
What does “stem cell therapy” mean at PrimeCell?
At PrimeCell, “stem cell therapy” means an injection of donated umbilical-cord-tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells, or of a perinatal (birth-tissue) allograft product, used only for selected patients after an evaluation and written informed consent. None of these products is FDA-approved for orthopedic, pain, cosmetic, hair or sexual-health use, which is why the Florida notice on this page applies.
Before any cellular product is used, the specific product, its source and its regulatory status are reviewed with you in writing. Often the better recommendation is rehabilitation, a conventional injection or PRP. Stem cell therapy, explained.
Is stem cell therapy FDA-approved?
Not for orthopedic, pain, cosmetic, hair or sexual-health use. The FDA has approved a small number of cell-based products for specific blood, immune and other disorders, but no stem cell or exosome product is approved to treat arthritis, back pain, tendon injuries, neuropathy, aging skin, hair loss or erectile dysfunction.
What does Florida law allow?
Since July 1, 2025, Florida law (§458.3245 and, for osteopathic physicians, §459.0127) allows physicians to use certain non-FDA-approved stem cell therapies within orthopedics, wound care and pain management, with sourcing requirements, written informed consent and a public notice. The law does not make any product FDA-approved. Cellular or exosome therapies for other purposes, such as aesthetics, hair loss or sexual health, are outside FDA approval and are investigational.
What regenerative options does PrimeCell offer?
Depending on the clinical findings: joint and trigger-point injections, peripheral nerve blocks, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections, prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP, including a PRP gel preparation), platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), umbilical-cord-tissue-derived stem cell and perinatal-tissue injections, and exosome products. PRP and PRF are prepared from your own blood and used off-label; cellular and exosome products are investigational and not FDA-approved. Epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation and EMG/nerve-conduction testing are coordinated or referred.

Does PrimeCell offer exosomes?
Yes, in selected cases, after a physician evaluation and written informed consent. Exosome (extracellular-vesicle) products are investigational: no exosome product is FDA-approved for any medical or cosmetic use, and the FDA has issued a public safety notification about unapproved exosome products. Evidence in people is early, and no result is promised.
Does PrimeCell offer Botox for migraine, spasticity or TMJ?
Yes. Dr. Chantasi, who is board-certified in PM&R and Pain Medicine, performs therapeutic botulinum toxin injections after an evaluation. Botox is FDA-approved for chronic migraine and for spasticity (ages 2 and up), and Xeomin for upper limb spasticity. No botulinum toxin is FDA-approved for TMJ disorders, bruxism or most other pain; those uses are off-label, and the studies are mixed. Care is self-pay with a written estimate; PrimeCell does not bill insurance.
Can a regenerative procedure regrow cartilage or guarantee results?
No. Current evidence does not support promising that an injection will regrow cartilage or reverse arthritis. The goal of the evaluation is to decide whether a treatment may reasonably reduce symptoms, improve function or support rehabilitation for you.
Are the results permanent?
No treatment can responsibly be promised as permanent. Durability depends on the diagnosis, structural stability, ongoing physical stress and progression of the underlying condition.
Will I still need physical therapy or rehabilitation?
Usually, yes. Rehabilitation remains an important part of improving strength, movement and tolerance; a procedure does not replace it.
What does PrimeCell’s medical weight management include?
A medical consultation, an individualized GLP-1 medication plan when appropriate, nutrition guidance, movement and strength planning, and monthly follow-up with dose decisions and side-effect management by the physician. PrimeCell’s program uses compounded GLP-1 medications, prescribed only after a physician evaluation.
Who is a candidate for GLP-1 weight-loss medication?
FDA-approved GLP-1-based medications for chronic weight management are labeled for adults with a body-mass index of 30 or more, or 27 or more with at least one weight-related condition, alongside diet and physical activity. They are not appropriate for everyone — for example, during pregnancy or with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2.
How much weight will I lose?
There is no guaranteed amount. Results depend on the medication, dose, duration, starting health, nutrition, activity, sleep, adherence, side effects and individual biology.
Are semaglutide and tirzepatide the same?
No. Semaglutide acts on the GLP-1 receptor, while tirzepatide acts on both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors. They have different FDA-approved products, indications and dosing schedules.
Are the GLP-1 medications at PrimeCell compounded?
Yes. PrimeCell’s program uses compounded GLP-1 medications, prescribed only after a physician evaluation. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality. They are not the same as FDA-approved Wegovy or Zepbound, and results from the clinical trials of those products cannot be assumed to apply to compounded versions. You are told exactly what is prescribed, and which licensed pharmacy prepares it.
Will I need to stay on medication forever?
Not necessarily, but obesity is often a chronic condition and some people benefit from long-term therapy. Duration is decided with your physician, and weight regain can occur after stopping.
What side effects should I expect?
Nausea, constipation, diarrhea and reduced appetite are the most common, especially while the dose is increasing. Doses are raised gradually and adjusted to tolerance, and some symptoms need a prompt call.
Can I start GLP-1 therapy through telemedicine?
Telemedicine may be available for eligible Florida patients, although an in-person examination, laboratory testing or other evaluation may be required.
Does insurance cover GLP-1 medications?
PrimeCell does not bill insurance for its program fees. Medication coverage varies widely by plan, diagnosis and pharmacy benefit, so confirm medication coverage directly with your insurer.
What aesthetic treatments does PrimeCell offer?
Neurotoxins (Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin and Jeuveau), hyaluronic-acid fillers (Juvéderm and Restylane), collagen stimulators (Radiesse and Sculptra), medical microneedling, PRP/PRF skin procedures and Korean-inspired, barrier-first skin care. Regenerative aesthetic procedures using stem-cell-derived or exosome products are also offered in selected cases; they are investigational and not FDA-approved for cosmetic use. Every treatment follows a good-faith medical exam.
Will I look frozen after Botox?
The goal is not to remove every expression. Careful dosing and placement can soften selected movement while preserving a natural appearance.
How long does Botox last?
Aesthetic effects often last around three to four months, but duration varies with muscle strength, metabolism, dose, product and treatment history. Many patients notice changes within several days, with the full effect at about one to two weeks.
Are “stem cell facials” and exosome skin procedures FDA-approved?
No. No stem cell or exosome product is FDA-approved for cosmetic use. PrimeCell offers these procedures only as investigational options, after an evaluation and written informed consent, and does not promise “cellular repair” or regeneration.
Does PrimeCell offer Rejuran, PDRN or polynucleotides?
Yes, Rejuran polynucleotide injections are offered after an evaluation and written consent. Rejuran and other polynucleotide or PDRN injectables are made from salmon DNA and used in some countries for skin quality, but they are not FDA-approved or cleared in the United States, and the evidence is early. Dr. Chantasi discusses them, and FDA-approved alternatives, at your consultation. People with a fish or salmon allergy should avoid them. More on polynucleotides.
Does PrimeCell offer care for hair loss or erectile dysfunction?
Both are evaluated medically first, because each has causes that need a diagnosis. FDA-approved treatments are discussed first. PRP, stem-cell-derived and exosome procedures for hair loss or erectile dysfunction are offered only in selected cases, are investigational and are not FDA-approved. Do you show before-and-after photos or reviews?
No. PrimeCell does not publish before-and-after photos, testimonials or outcome statistics. Patients who proceed are invited into the PrimeCell Aesthetic Outcomes Follow-Up to check whether the result matched their goals.
What hormone care does PrimeCell provide?
Individualized evaluation and treatment for women in perimenopause and menopause, and for men with symptoms and confirmed low testosterone. Options include transdermal, oral, injection, hormone pellet and local vaginal therapy, as well as non-hormonal support.
Do symptoms alone prove a hormone deficiency?
No. Fatigue, weight change, sleep problems, mood changes and low libido have many causes. A careful history, an examination and targeted testing help separate hormone problems from other conditions.
How is low testosterone diagnosed?
A diagnosis usually requires matching signs or symptoms and low testosterone on at least two separate early-morning blood tests. The workup also looks for causes that can be reversed.
Can testosterone therapy affect fertility?
Yes. Testosterone taken from outside the body can lower sperm production, sometimes substantially. Men who want children in the future should raise this before starting.
Is hormone therapy monitored over time?
Yes. Follow-up reviews symptoms, side effects, adherence and relevant labs, and treatment may be adjusted, paused or stopped as needed.
What is a PrimeCell membership?
An annual membership that pairs a personal treatment roadmap and priority scheduling with a treatment allowance you can direct across eligible regenerative, pain, aesthetic and wellness services. There are four levels (Foundation, Optimize, Transform and Ascend); fees are shown in the PrimeCell Shop before enrolment and explained at a membership consultation.
Does membership guarantee a specific treatment?
No. Treatment selection remains individualized and subject to medical evaluation, clinical appropriateness, informed consent, product availability and applicable law.
Is membership health insurance?
No. Membership is not health insurance and does not guarantee any treatment, outcome or result.
How does the monthly payment option work?
With the 12-month prorated plan, base treatment credit and prorated bonus credit are added after each successful payment. Future months are not advanced.
Do unused credits roll over, and can membership be refunded?
Credit use, expiration, cancellation, refund and transfer rules are governed by the current written membership agreement and applicable law. Review the agreement carefully before enrolling.
